to Make Use of SOEC
For those of you who are current students at KEVI College, Stourbridge, a special welcome awaits you.
After talking to your colleagues, we know some of you welcome the chance to go somewhere quiet to study or unwind for a while in your spare time.
So why not make the short journey from the college to the Club any lunchtime and take advantage of our facilities?
By all means bring your laptops and coursework with you.
Your student ID is your free passport to enter the premises while you are a student at the College.
Our Offer To You
FREE use (no membership required) of all available public rooms at SOEC.
Times: During lunchtime opening ONLY (11.30 - 14.30) during both term and holidays.
Study: For study / coursework taking advantage of SOEC Free Wifi as required and any of our available public rooms.
Relaxation: General relaxing in our main lounge and access to card games.
Catering: Food and Soft Drinks if required.
Student ID must be visible at all times.
You must sign in the special visitors book in the hall.
Only food and drink purchased on the premises may be consumed inside the Club.
Access to the snooker room is not allowed except for formal membership (apply for ages 18 and above).
Dress code is relaxed for you at lunchtimes but the Stewards will advise any issues (e.g. no distressed jeans, no shorts).
Any rubbish must be taken back with you and must not be left in the Club.
Our facilities are normally fully available to you at lunchtimes - and at all times if you become a member after age 18.
However, there are occasions when the Club is booked for private functions.
In that event, we alert the College who in turn will alert all students via College email - so please check your emails before you come!
